Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026 (rev 3)

Menova ("we", "us") provides educational content and a self-check experience for adults navigating perimenopause, menopause, and related midlife health topics. We respect your privacy and aim to collect only what is needed to deliver the service responsibly.

What we collect

  • Self-check responses — symptom information you choose to share through the Tally form.
  • Email address — when you opt into the waitlist.
  • Usage analytics — aggregate, cookie-free analytics from Cloudflare Web Analytics (no personal identifiers).

How we use it

  • To generate your self-check symptom summary.
  • To send you product updates you opted in to receive.
  • To improve content quality based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

Some pages on Menova contain affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, our affiliate network partners — including impact.com and other affiliate platforms (such as CJ Affiliate / Conversant, a service of Publicis Groupe) — may set cookies or similar tracking technologies on your device to track referrals and attribute commissions. These cookies do not collect personal health information.

You can accept or decline affiliate tracking cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, affiliate links will still work but commissions may not be attributed. You can also opt out of CJ Affiliate / Conversant tracking at any time by visiting conversant.com/opt-out.

Separation of health data and advertising data

We do not connect your symptom or self-check information with affiliate tracking in any way.

  • Self-check responses entered through Tally are processed solely to generate your symptom summary. They are not shared with impact.com, CJ Affiliate, Conversant, or any advertising partner.
  • We never place health, symptom, self-check, or other personal data into affiliate links, tracking parameters, sub-IDs, or click identifiers. Affiliate tracking identifiers contain only non-personal context such as the page or button clicked.
  • Affiliate tracking cookies (impact.com and other networks) are only set when you click an affiliate link on a comparison page. They do not have access to any health or symptom data you have entered.
  • These two data streams are technically and operationally separate. We do not use health data to personalise advertising, and we do not use ad-tracking data to influence health content shown to you.

Sub-processors

  • Cloudflare (hosting, security, analytics)
  • Tally (self-check form processing)
  • impact.com (affiliate tracking and commission attribution)
  • CJ Affiliate / Conversant and other affiliate networks (affiliate tracking cookies, where used)
  • Email delivery provider (transactional email)

Sensitive health data & your choices

Your self-check answers about symptoms can be considered consumer health data, so we treat them carefully:

  • Why we collect it & consent. We use your self-check answers only to generate your symptom summary and to tailor educational follow-up you opt into. We ask with your consent; you can skip questions or stop at any time.
  • We never sell it, and never put it in ad links. We do not sell consumer health data, and we never place health, symptom, or other personal data into affiliate links, tracking parameters, or sub-IDs.
  • Global Privacy Control. We honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
  • Retention & deletion. We keep self-check responses only as long as needed to provide the service, then delete or aggregate/anonymize them. You can request access, correction, or deletion at any time via hello@menova.life; we respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
  • Washington "My Health My Data". Washington residents can rely on the consumer-health-data practices described on this page and exercise the rights above. We do not sell consumer health data and do not collect it beyond what is described here.
